Grand Scale of Things

There's a mysterious scale that behaves according to unknown rules. You need to guess what the scale measures for each level!

How to Play:

  • You will be shown a list of items on the left side of the screen.
  • Press the "Put Left" button to put the item on the left side of the scale, and "Put Right" to put on the right side.
  • The scale will change depending on the items that you placed.
  • Type in your guess on what the scale measures in the input box on the bottom left, and press the "Guess the rule" button or press enter to submit your guess.
  • After 3 wrong guesses, a give-up button and skip-level button will appear. You can use those to skip a level in order to experience the next level.

Super fun take on the theme! Reminds me of some old funny flash games back in the day!

For constructive criticism I'd work on conveyance, when I originally booted up the game I had no idea what the game was asking me to do until I read your page's description. Once I caught on to things though I really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed it, awesome idea! But I thought some of the later levels weren't very good, humour in jam games is fine but the solution being a meme I haven't really heard of or an in-joke isn't the way to do it, jokes are best as a hidden gag for someone to find, and maybe get

I really enjoyed the music! And it is a nice quick and simple game!

it's really good game, I liked music and the concept :)

The idea itself is pretty good but the show solution button is necessary for some of these. Still nice game ^^

A game that can be fun for quick gameplay since it’s short.

At the start can be confusing due the “type your guess for the rule”, could be phrased maybe in another way to make more people understand, like “what the scale is measuring”, or I felt that way.

After the 1st level can be fun and easy to gasp until level 8, which if you don’t know memes, can be impossible to gasp. But I like that you can put a word related to the rule scale and you get the answer correctly, you don’t have to be that specific which I appreciate. (Except in level 7, I put color and got it wrong despite the answer having to do with the color.)

And level 9 can be funny after knowing the answer haha.

A error I found was

In level 8 for some reason if I put english on the left and spanish on the right, the game cuts the audio and the scale freezes, but not in the other way. Would be nice to have a history of the guesses I made to see what I put in the answer.

The visuals are ok with relaxing music, but I had a small good time. :)

Thanks for the very detailed feedback! I really appreciate it!

Noted that the start can be confusing. I agree with you that the tutorial part is quite lacking. I'll polish it once the voting period is over, just for the sake of the completeness of the game.

About the error that you found, that's a nice catch! Actually, the scale freezes is part of the joke lol, but the audio being cut is definitely a bug, thanks for letting me know!
